In our new topic 'Meet the Wold Bank' we interview interesting people with interestng jobs at the World Bank. In this edition we met with Sophie Peeters from the Blockchain Lab, a new and innovative initiative within the World Bank.


Land and Poverty Conference 2018: Land Governance in an Interconnected World

The Land and Poverty conference will present the latest research and practice on the diversity of reforms, interventions, and innovations in the land sector around the world. On Monday March 19th at 13:30 the World Bank will be hosting a pre-event BBL on the potential of blockchains for strengthening tenure security and facilitating service delivery. Global Guidelines for Unsolicited Proposals

The World Bank has warned about the challenges of unsolicited proposals for the past decade. However, no guidelines existed to help governments manage them.

This report provides the World Bank, client countries, and the private sector guidelines on how to manage unsolicited proposals in infrastructure projects.
